So much food is surplus and goes to waste.  We fight food waste and food poverty by redistributing surplus food from all across Herefordshire.

We receive this food from supermarkets and food distributors and pass it on to our customers.

Anyone can be a member, this scheme isn't means-tested. You can save money and help others! For a suggested donation of £5, you get your bag of shopping with a minimum of 10 items. Items available will depend on the stock we have. The donations from customers are used to buy in food from Fareshare and to cover the cost of collecting food from supermarkets all over the city.

 

With your donation, we can help those experiencing food poverty.

We ensure no food goes to waste as unused items go to supported housing providers and the homeless looking after the most vulnerable in our community.

Items stocked will vary daily depending on our collections.

 

Community larder opening hours:

Monday to Friday: 9am - 3.30pm

Saturday + Sunday: Closed
